About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development with proven expertise in building scalable applications and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications and services
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Work with databases, APIs, and third-party integrations
  • Ensure code quality through testing and continuous integration

Required Technical SkillsCore Python Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Deep understanding of Python data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
  • Knowledge of Python libraries and frameworks

Web Frameworks Required

  • Django
  • Flask
  • FastAPI

Database Skills

  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience with
    NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
  • Database design and optimization
  • ORM frameworks (TypeORM, Mongoose, Django ORM)

API Development

  • RESTful API design and development
  • API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
  • GraphQL (preferred)
  • Authentication and authorization mechanisms

Version Control & DevOps

  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub/GitLab
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

Additional Technical Skills

  • Experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery)
  • Message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Testing frameworks (pytest, unittest)
  • Web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy) - plus
  • Data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy) - plus
  • Microservices architecture understanding

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Python development experience
  • Proven track record of delivering production-grade applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
