Cloud Data Engineer

Develop and optimise SQL and PL/SQL queries within GCP BigQuery. Build and maintain infrastructure using GCP services such as Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Cloud Run. Collaborate with data engineers to process large datasets using GCP tools including BigQuery and Cloud Storage. Ensure performance, security, and scalability best practices across cloud applications. Write unit tests and maintain documentation to support code quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot and debug cloud-based applications in production environments. Apply cloud-native development principles and data processing frameworks. Contribute to agile development practices including SCRUM and SAFe methodologies. A graduate or postgraduate in a technical stream (preferably Engineering). Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in data engineering. Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, GCP BigQuery, Datafusion, and Python. Familiar with data warehousing concepts and GCP components. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Able to work collaboratively in a team and respond proactively to risks and issues.
