We're looking for a Lead Quality Engineer (P4) for the AutoSOC team to be part of making this happen. A Lead QE has a proven history of driving quality engineering excellence through test automation, validation frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives. They are driven, curious, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities while enhancing our existing codebase of detections and continuously challenging the status quo.
About the Role

- Review and audit test plans and test cases to identify improvements in quality execution
- Generate and audit test reports
- Expert in functional and non-functional testing methodologies
- Identify areas of improvement for products and services
- Able to write, execute and improve manual and automated test cases. Think outside the box to ensure test coverage with edge cases
- Understand the Quality needs for projects including the test setup for functional and non-functional testing
- Understand SLAs of bugs and identify them by priority
- Identify test cases for automation for backend and frontend functions as well as non-functional tests
- Understand and champion current QA best practices
- Write, review and improve automated test cases and tools in Python, Go or equivalent programming languages
- Able to review automated test code for clarity, coverage & accuracy of test case
- Leadership in guiding team towards Quality Engineering to ship the highest quality of products and services
Responsibilities
- Uphold the "quality-first" mindset within the team with QA metrics to identify product risks and gaps
- Ensure that the product meets the quality standards and advocate for improvement with the stakeholders
- Raise quality concerns with the team and stakeholders. Provide solutions to quality process issues within the team.
- Show ownership and accountability toward test planning for projects including creation and coverage of test plan with hands on ability to support the dev team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the quality planning is done effectively, efficiently and across silos
- Actively propose, improve, implement and use metrics to monitor test plan progress
- Oversee execution of test plans and ensure that the test coverage is up to the standards set by the team
- Hold team accountable that bugs are reported and resolved in timely manner to meet project timeframe
- Identify and design tools necessary to execute quality efforts effectively and efficiently
- Guide and mentor team toward better testing and quality practices
- Identify bugs, lead root cause analysis and risk mitigation efforts for bugs and defects
- SME of the features getting developed by the team
- Coordinates quality activities required for a high quality product delivery
- Drives quality improvement initiatives
- Assists in interviews to hire the right candidate for QA roles
