SAP MM ARIBA Consultant

Description:

The SAP MM Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. You will be responsible for the team that performs all system maintenance, project development, migration projects at DXC.

Resource will be responsible for the team that performs all development tasks within SAP Projects at DXC all from idea, technical design, implementation, quality assurance, test, to cut-over support. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of Delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.

Manage, implement and strategize the design, development and implementation of customization and enhancements through the development, establishment and implementation of projects with customization and enhancement in the areas Material Management (MM). Integrations to Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), Controlling (CO) by covering its functionalities.

Integration with Ariba System for the functionalities of Ariba GBB and SCC.

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies S/4 HANA and industry/market domain knowledge.

The SAP MM Consultant is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services' agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.

Working Experience: 5-8 years as SAP MM Consultant

Technical Skills:

At least one end to end Implementation Project and support of SAP MM solutions across all phases. Strong experience with S/4HANA MM including FIORI-based processes. Be proficient and have hands-on config experience in MM capabilities and provide solutions for clients. Experience in designing and defining the MM org structure within P2P area. Hands-on configuration in purchasing, inventory, and invoice processing scenarios Proficiency in special procurement process: Standard, Consignment, Subcontracting, Third-party and stock transport orders. Configure procurement processes: PR, PO, contracts, scheduling agreements, Scheduling agreement Release (FC/JIT) Procurement of Non-stock Material, Service Procurement. Configure of Pricing determination process, Pricing procedures Condition types, automatic account determination, & Valuation: moving average/standard cost Set up release strategies, document types, output determination process, and approval workflows Oversee inventory processes including goods receipts, Issues, transfers, returns, and reservations Invoice Verification: Logistics Invoice Verification, GR/IR clearing Integration knowledge with SAP FI, WM, PP, and SD modules and Ariba GBB and SCC. Experience in preparation of Functional specifications for the technical objects - Reports, Forms, Enhancements & Interface. Experience and knowledge in Idocs monitoring and processing. Data Migration - Mass changes – extensive usage of LSMW and SAP Queries.

Ariba GBB & SCC:

Experience and knowledge in Ariba Guided Buying process, Workflow process. Experience and knowledge in Ariba Supply chain Collaboration on Business Network in Standard Procurement, Consignment, Forecast, SMI Processes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Business Process Analysis and Solution Design:

Analyze clients' Materials Management procurement processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions leveraging SAP MM best practices. 

• SAP MM Configuration:

Configure procurement processes such as PR, PO, contracts, scheduling agreements pricing procedures, account determination, and valuation classes.

• System Testing and Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration) to ensure the SAP MM solution functions correctly and meets requirements

• Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and custom developments. 

• Collaboration and Communication:

Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., SD, FI, PP, Sales Force) and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. 

Key Skills

• Extensive SAP MM experience:

Deep understanding of SAP MM functionalities, including Procurement Processes, Pricing & Valuation, Inventory Functions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills:

Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and provide training.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is Must
• Integration knowledge: Understanding of integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules like SD, FI, PP, and external systems.
• Integration with Ariba GBB and Ariba Business Network in Supply Chain Collaboration.
• Experience in Process and support for Ariba GBB and Ariba Business Network in Supply Chain Collaboration process issues.

Primary Skills and Qualifications

• Candidate must be certified in SAP ECC OR SAP S/4 HANA.
• Candidate should have min of 5-8 years of work experience.
• Experience in SAP MM module, Ariba Guided Buying and Business Network in Supply Chain Collaboration.
