Description :

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Collections Strategy and Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive experience in credit card collections and deep proficiency in data analysis, particularly using SQL.

You will be critical in developing, implementing, and optimizing our collections strategies, guiding junior team members, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership to drive performance improvements and reduce operational costs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collections Strategy Development : Design, implement, and rigorously track the performance of new and existing collections strategies across the credit card lifecycle to maximize recovery and minimize losses.

- Data Analysis & Insight Generation : Utilize advanced SQL skills to work with large, complex, and sometimes undefined datasets, transforming raw data into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations for process and strategy improvements.

- Performance Tracking : Develop and maintain robust performance tracking models and reporting to monitor key collections metrics (e.g., roll rates, recovery rates, efficiency) and identify areas of opportunity or concern.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with operations, risk, product, and finance teams to implement analytical findings, support business initiatives, and ensure alignment across the organization.

- Mentorship and Guidance : Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, helping to build and elevate the analytical capabilities of the team.

- Reporting & Presentation : Prepare and present clear, compelling findings, analytical reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management and business leaders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 8 years of dedicated experience in credit card collections or operations analytics, preferably within the Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech (BFSI/Fintech) sectors.

- Domain Expertise : Deep and comprehensive understanding of the credit card collections lifecycle, including key definitions, performance metrics, and regulatory landscape.

- Technical Proficiency : Advanced SQL skills are mandatory; the proven ability to write complex, efficient queries, manage large data sets, and extract meaningful information.

- Strategic & Business Acumen : Demonstrated experience in translating data analysis into impactful business strategies and actions that drive measurable improvements in collections performance and operational efficiency.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence and polish to effectively present and defend analytical findings to senior leadership.

- Leadership : Proven ability to mentor, train, and build analytical talent within a team.

- Work Ethic : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
