About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 0–2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with our creative, marketing, and content teams to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in video production and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into compelling, engaging content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance videos
- Cut, trim, and organize clips while maintaining continuity and storytelling flow
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, designers, and marketers to meet creative goals
- Export videos in various formats suitable for web, mobile, and social media
- Maintain organized project files and backups
- Take feedback constructively and make timely revisions
- Stay updated on the latest editing trends, techniques, and tools
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in video editing (internships, freelance, or academic projects count)
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Basic knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or motion graphics is a plus
- A portfolio or reel showcasing editing skills (can include student or personal projects)
- Good understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions
- Attention to detail and a creative eye
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
- Experience with social media content formats and trends
- Understanding of color grading, audio mixing, or motion graphics
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO and video optimization
