Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager - HSE / Safety

Location: Mumbai (Andheri Site)

Experience: 8+ Years

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety / Engineering (Civil/Mechanical); Certifications like NEBOSH/IOSH preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce HSE protocols and statutory compliance across all site activities.
  • Lead site safety for high-rise construction (minimum G+30) with full autonomy
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures proactively.
  • Conduct routine site audits, safety inspections, and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
  • Liaise ith regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and statutory registers.
  • Train site teams on PPE usage, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Align safety measures with engineering and execution plans seamlessly.
  • Drive safety culture through awareness campaigns and mock drills.

Skills:

  • Strong command of HSE norms, codes, and statutory requirements in high-rise projects.
  • Proven ability to independently manage safety at large construction sites
  • Skilled in risk mitigation, compliance documentation, and incident analysis
  • Effective communicator and team trainer with a firm yet collaborative approach
  • Capable of ensuring on-ground discipline while fostering safety ownership
  • Proficient in HSE reporting tools and management systems
