Position: Senior Developer/Tech. Lead for Mobile App Development

Location: Chennai/Madurai

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Developer / Technical Lead to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade mobile applications. The role demands strong hands-on expertise, technical leadership, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business and product requirements to define mobile system specifications and architecture

Plan, design, and implement end-to-end mobile application architecture (Android, iOS, cross-platform)

Lead and supervise development of major mobile application modules and integrations

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to mobile development teams

Ensure best practices in mobile UI/UX, performance optimization, security, and scalability

Evaluate and select appropriate mobile frameworks, SDKs, libraries, and backend integration strategies

Collaborate with backend, web, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless API and system integration

Assist in resolving complex technical challenges, architectural decisions, and performance bottlenecks

Conduct and oversee:

Code reviews and code quality enforcement

Change management and release planning

CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Production monitoring and health checks

Effort estimation, productivity tracking, and technical competency building

Ensure mobile applications comply with quality standards, security guidelines, and app store policies

Support recruitment, onboarding, and skill development of mobile engineers

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

68 years of experience in a Technical Lead / Senior Mobile Developer role

1214 years of overall hands-on software development experience

Proven experience delivering large-scale, consumer or enterprise mobile applications

Strong preference for product-based development experience (healthcare domain is a plus)

Mobile Technologies

Strong hands-on experience with:

Cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter / React Native / Xamarin

Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C)

Expertise in mobile application lifecycle, memory management, background processing, and offline-first design

Experience with mobile security, encryption, secure storage, and authentication mechanisms

Backend & Integration

Strong experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs (JSON-based)

Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as .NET Core /

Database experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and NoSQL databases

Cloud, DevOps & Tools

Experience with AWS or GCP for mobile backend services

Experience integrating analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and Apples App Store and Googles Playstore deployments

Exposure to Angular / React for mobile-web or hybrid integrations

Experience with healthcare or regulated-domain applications

Knowledge of mobile accessibility and compliance standards

Educational Qualification

BSc / BE / BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
