A Junior Male Accountant

Is an entry-level role focused on recording and reporting corporate finances by performing daily accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, and assisting with financial statement preparation.

Key responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, or QuickBooks).
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices, bills, vouchers, and payments accurately.
  • Assist in preparing journal entries and monthly closing of accounts.
  • Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and accounting standards.

2. Bank & Cash Management

  • Prepare daily bank reconciliation statements.
  • Monitor cash inflows and outflows and maintain a daily cashbook.
  • Support petty cash management and reporting.

3. Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support senior accountants in analyzing financial data and preparing MIS reports.
  • Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
