About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer (Backend Focused) to join our engineering team. This role demands deep expertise in backend development using JavaScript ) along with strong experience in System Design, SQL Databases, and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). Familiarity with frontend technologies like ReactJS is an added advantage for fullstack collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the backend architecture, design, and development of scalable systems and APIs.
  • Own end-to-end development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and monitoring.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Drive system design discussions, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Implement efficient database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and manage relational databases.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on coding standards, best practices, and technical problem-solving.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and contribute to improving overall engineering processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience using JavaScript ).
  • Strong understanding and experience with System Design concepts and patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL Databases: schema design, query optimization, indexing, and database management.
  • Solid command of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of ReactJS for frontend integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Good to Have:

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.

Experience in leading small-to-mid sized teams.
