About the Role:

CCIS Green Campus is inviting applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic EVS Teacher for Grades 1 and 2. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, a nurturing teaching style, and the ability to make environmental and science concepts engaging and easy to understand for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Environmental Studies (EVS) to students of Grades 1 & 2 as per the prescribed curriculum.
  • Create interactive and activity-based lessons that make learning fun and meaningful.
  • Develop students' curiosity and awareness about the environment, community, and surroundings.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments.
  • Encourage communication and fluency in English during classroom interaction.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and maintain academic records.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers for integrated learning experiences.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • B.Ed with a background in Science / English / Environmental Studies.
  • Strong English fluency – spoken and written.
  • Prior experience teaching primary grades preferred.
  • Creative, patient, and passionate about working with children.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
