About the role
The Fraud Prevention Analyst supports the UK business to identify and mitigate fraud risk, the primary objective is to identify fraud patterns emerging both in the online and the stores business
You will be responsible for
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and techniques
- Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's
- Knows and applies fundamental work theories/concepts/processes in own areas of work
- Analyse fraud patterns and come up with possible solutions to mitigate fraud.
- Work on key projects using various data sources to help the fraud investigations with more information to take data based decisions
- Place fraud rules to stop fraud emerging from emerging fraud patterns
- Keep up to date with the industry and place rules/ take actions on futuristic patterns
- Build reports that help stakeholders in decision making
You will need
1 to 2 years relevant experience in Fraud Investigation/ Fraud Prevention, Analytics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good SQL/Hadoop/Tableau/MS office experience
Past experience in fraud prevention teams is a plus
Knowledge of R/SAS is a plus
Preferred - A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business or Quantitative Discipline
