Position Overview
The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures all systems, networks, hardware, and software function efficiently and securely while providing technical support to internal users.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems & Network Administration
Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Manage firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- IT Security
Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and security patches.
Conduct regular security assessments and respond to security breaches.
Manage user permissions and access controls.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide Tier 1–Tier 3 support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install and configure operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
Maintain an IT helpdesk ticketing system and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Hardware & Software Management
Oversee procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment.
Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure lifecycle management.
Manage licenses, subscriptions, and software updates.
- Backup, Recovery & Documentation
Implement and monitor data backup and disaster recovery plans.
Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of experience in IT administration or technical support.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
Experience with Windows/Linux servers and MS 365/Google Workspace environments.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
