Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products/services through implementation of 5S & Kaizen principles, meticulous documentation, and skillful use of testing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their skills and contribute to a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system.
  • Actively participate in 5S and Kaizen initiatives to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and safety. Help identify areas for continuous improvement and implement solutions.
  • Create, maintain, and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and process flow diagrams. Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using various testing equipment. Analyze test results and identify any deviations from specifications.
  • Properly operate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
  • Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and present findings to the quality team.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of quality issues and participate in developing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, including production, engineering, and customer service, to address quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with 5S and Kaizen principles.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining quality documentation.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
