Visual Designer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Karma Group is looking for a Visual Designer who is more than a tool operator. We want a storyteller, a trend-watcher, and a challenger of norms. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

To create high-quality and visually appealing graphic design elements that support Karma Group's sales, digital marketing initiatives and brand identity across various platforms.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the VP of Global Branding and various KG teams to understand project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Translate ideas, campaigns, and strategies into visuals that inspire loyalty and action.
• Shape UI elements for websites and apps that are not only beautiful but intuitive, so that every touchpoint feels seamless.
• Balance consistency with innovation — uphold brand identity while always pushing the boundaries of creativity.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams as one family to bring ideas to life.
• Develop creative concepts for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to website graphics, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, presentations, and online advertising.
• Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) to create original illustrations, logos, icons, and other visual elements that are in-keeping with brand guidelines.
• Select and source high-quality stock photos and graphics that align with brand tone & messaging.
• Ensure all designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for various digital platforms.
• Maintain brand consistency across all graphic design projects.
• Work collaboratively with copywriters and web developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
• Manage revisions and feedback effectively to deliver final designs on time and within guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a creative designer, preferably in a digital marketing or agency setting.
• Experience working on a variety of digital marketing projects is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with formal design education will be prioritized, as a strong academic foundation in design principles, typography, and visual storytelling is essential.
• Portfolios should demonstrate not just creativity but evidence of solid fundamentals and structured design thinking.
• High level of spoken and written English
• Proven experience with graphic design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of design trends and best practices for digital marketing.
• Working knowledge of web design principles (a plus).
• Strong creativity and a keen eye for design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new things.
