HVAC Head

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Head to lead our engineering consultancy division focused on Pharma & Healthcare projects. The role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver HVAC solutions that meet stringent regulatory and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project design, execution, client coordination, and leading a team of engineers to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering:

• Lead the design of HVAC systems for pharma and healthcare facilities (Cleanrooms, Labs, Hospitals, R&D facilities, etc.).

• Prepare heat load calculations, ducting and piping layouts, equipment sizing, and BOQs.

• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, cGMP, NABH, USFDA, Schedule M and other regulatory guidelines.

• Project Leadership & Execution:

• Manage multiple projects from concept to commissioning.

• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams for integrated project execution.
• Provide technical guidance during project execution and resolve on-site challenges.

• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of HVAC design and site engineers.

• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and review deliverables.

• Conduct technical training sessions for team development.

• Client Engagement:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on HVAC matters.

• Prepare and present technical proposals, drawings, and solutions.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.

• Compliance & Quality:

• Ensure documentation, drawings, and approvals are in line with pharma & healthcare compliance standards.

• Monitor quality control measures during procurement and installation.

• Innovation & Cost Optimization:

• Evaluate new HVAC technologies and solutions for energy efficiency.

• Optimize system design for cost-effectiveness while maintaining regulatory compliance.Role & responsibilities
