Oracle Forms and Reports Developer

Job Details:

  • Evaluate existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications, identify migration challenges, and design the architecture for the Oracle 12c environment.
  • Execute the migration process from legacy versions (e.g., Oracle 6i) to Oracle 12c, which may involve rewriting or adapting code and components.
  • Develop and customize Oracle Forms, Reports, and backend PL/SQL procedures, packages, and triggers within the 12c platform.
  • Perform thorough testing to ensure all migrated forms and reports function correctly, meet user requirements, and are bug-free.
  • Deploy the upgraded applications into the production environment, ensuring smooth integration with the 12c infrastructure.
  • Optimize application performance by tuning SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and leveraging new 12c features for better speed and efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, functional solutions.
  • Adhere to and maintain coding standards, security protocols, and documentation best practices throughout the migration process.
