Mave is Hiring a Full Stack Engineer, primarily focussed towards Backend

We are looking for a
Full Stack Engineer with more than 2.5 years of experience
, strong in backend (Python, Django, FastAPI) and comfortable with frontend (React or ).

You will own features end to end, from designing APIs and deploying infrastructure to building dashboards and product-facing web features.

 Who are we?

Mave Health is combining hardware and software to reimagine mental health.

Our first program is an 8-week journey centered around a neurostimulation headset that gently activates underused areas of the brain, helping people feel calmer and more balanced.

We are a
product-first
startup with a small, close-knit team. Engineers here work directly with design, product, and business to build experiences that make a real impact.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain end-to-end product features across backend and frontend.
  • Backend (primary)
    Design and implement APIs and services in Django/FastAPI
  • Work with Postgres, Redis, Celery, and async patterns
  • Handle deployments on AWS/Azure, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and performant
  • Frontend (secondary)
    Build and maintain web dashboards, admin tools, and product-facing flows in
  • Collaborate with the React Native engineer to ensure smooth integration across web and mobile
  • Contribute to product discussions and take full ownership from design to deployment

 What We Are Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in backend and full stack development
  • Strong in Python (Django, FastAPI)
  • Comfortable with or similar
  • Familiar with Postgres, Redis, Celery, cloud deployments, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Product-first mindset with strong sense of ownership

 Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthtech
  • Experience with real-time communication protocols (
    WebRTC
    )
  • Interest in scaling systems as adoption grows
  • Familiarity with
    Kubernetes
    , Terraform, or advanced DevOps tools

  • Location: Office in Koramangala, Bangalore (in-office role)
  • Team: 12 people (3 founders, 9 teammates)
  • Work week: 5 days/week (may extend to 6 during critical months)
  • Pay: ₹28-40 LPA
  • Experience: 3–5 years
