Job Summary:

Role: QHSSE Trainer / Instructor

Experience: 10 years to 15 years

Job Location: TCS Olympus, Thane

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education
  • Should be flexible with night shifts & rotation shifts (Preferably in US / EMEA / APAC shift timings)
  • Candidates to have registered Eps

About the Role:

The Area HSE and Quality Instructor is a support position intended to facilitate the delivery of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental training to ensure the highest standards are met about internal and external requirements. This position is responsible for all aspects of coordination, setup, and delivery of HSE and Quality training courses.

Skills :

Must-Have

  • Bachelors degree in science or commerce
  • Must have professional background of Oil and Gas Industry/Manufacturing Industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the HSC curriculum and assessment criteria.
  • Ability to analyze and apply safety codes, OSHA, EPA, state health regulations, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness
  • Strong leadership & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Conflict resolution skills and problem-solving ability
  • Exposure to tools that would facilitate material development of new technology for delivery efficiency

Good-to-Have

  • An HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) trainer certification
  • Significant exposure as a user of one or more Graphic Design tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Good to have Technical Writing Experience
  • Prior experience in Adult Education experience IADC approved RigPass Instructor
  • Medic First Aid CPR Approved Instructor

Responsibilities :

  1. The responsibilities of this role include all aspects of coordination, setup, and delivery of Health, Safety, and Environmental and Quality training courses.

  2. Oversee and assist in all facets of HSE and Quality training including training development, delivery and management of training and training programs within their assigned area.

  3. Maintain HSE & Quality Training Database, Modules and materials.

  4. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of skills level HSE and Quality training based on requirement.

  5. Ensure common Health, Safety, and Environmental and Quality training standards are implemented throughout all employees.

  6. ensure that employees understand and adhere to relevant HSE regulations and best practices.

  7. Conduct timely evaluations of Geo-zone HSE and Quality training to ensure compliance with Corporate, Regulatory and external customer standards.

  8. Must understand and comply with all the HSE and Quality rules and company policies.

  9. Interacts with both internal and external customers with regards to HSE and Quality

  10. Effectively communicate internal, legislative, and customer requirements and industry best practices to ALL levels.

  11. Assist in the completion of area HSE and Quality Competency goals, reporting, and evaluations of set goals. Assists in facilitating assessor training, and implementation of programs.

  12. Assist the area in the delivery of approved training that meets, regulatory and customer requirements.
