The Colaba News24 is a fast-growing local news channel based in South Mumbai, dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and engaging local news content to our audience. We focus on stories that matter to the people of South Mumbai — from breaking news to community highlights and local culture.
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our newsroom team and help us create visually engaging content for digital and broadcast platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit daily news videos, interviews, and field reports for digital and TV broadcast.
- Create eye-catching thumbnails, banners, and social media posts for YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
- Work closely with reporters and producers to deliver high-quality visual storytelling.
- Add motion graphics, lower thirds, intros, and outros to news videos.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's style, tone, and standards.
- Manage and organize raw footage, project files, and archives.
- Stay up to date with design trends and social media aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mass Media, Film Editing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in a news or media organization is a plus.
- Familiarity with Marathi and English language content.
