Job Description: Front-End SDE-2

Location: Remote

Experience: 3- 4 years

Qualification: BTech (Tier 1 college)

About the role: As a Front-End SDE-2 at Company, you will take ownership of feature development, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality code standards. You will translate product requirements and high-fidelity designs into performant, maintainable front-end code, while mentoring junior developers and driving engineering excellence. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and Analytics teams to deliver seamless, user-centric experiences across web and desktop platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Apply AI-powered development tools to boost quality, velocity, and consistency in day-to-day development (e.g. Cursor).
• Own end-to-end implementation of front-end features and modules with minimal supervision.
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring to align product, engineering, and team goals.
• Take full ownership of delivery outcomes, including edge cases, performance, and post-release stability
• Independently troubleshoot production issues, diagnose root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
• Stay current with the latest AI/tech advancements and proactively share relevant tools, workflows, or insights with the team to enhance productivity and foster a learning culture.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development, preferably in B2B products.
• Solid experience in Angular(v14+ preferred) or React.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong feature ownership mindset able to estimate accurately, plan iterations, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot and disambiguate issues independently, applying both creative thinking and technical rigor.
• Effective communicator who practices clear documentation, proactive collaboration, and cross-functional alignment.

Additional Preferred Skills:

While the following skills are not mandatory, experience in any of these areas will be considered an advantage:

• Experience with Micro Frontend architectures i.e. independently deployable modules, integration strategies (e.g., Single-SPA, Module Federation).
• Hands-on experience with web-based ML/NLP models (e.g., using , running models like DistilBERT/TinyBERT in-browser for tasks like intent classification, NLU, etc.).
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with server-side technologies such as , Java, Ruby, or Python. Exposure to Electron framework for building desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Web sockets and socket clients for real-time communication.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and familiarity with testing libraries like Jasmine and Karma.
