Senior Video Editor Position

  • Position: Senior Video Editor
  • Experience: 5+ Years
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Working Days: 5.5 Days a Week (Day Shift)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor to join our creative team and lead the post-production process across a wide range of digital and video marketing projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of visual storytelling, high-end editing techniques, and a strong portfolio of work across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

● Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, compelling videos for marketing, promotional, and branding use.

● Collaborate closely with the creative, design, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life.

● Add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound effects, and music to enhance storytelling.

● Handle color correction, audio leveling, and visual effects to maintain professional quality.

● Lead and mentor junior editors, helping to define editing standards and workflows.

● Ensure timely delivery of video projects while maintaining high-quality output.

● Optimize content for multiple platforms (social media, web, internal presentations, etc.)

● Manage and organize media assets, project files, and backup systems.

● Stay updated with current trends, editing software advancements, and best practices in video content creation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● Minimum 5+ years of professional video editing experience.

● Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (knowledge of Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus).

● Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and audio/visual synchronisation.

● Solid understanding of different video formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios.

● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

● A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing styles and creative storytelling.

● Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

● Experience in editing for digital ads, brand videos, reels, YouTube content, or corporate films.

Preferred:

● Experience in leading or supervising video production or post-production teams.

● Basic knowledge of camera equipment and on-set workflows.

● Familiarity with digital marketing trends and content performance metrics.
