Educational Requirements : Diploma/ITI - Electrical

Relevant Work Experience : 2-4 Years in Engineering field

Summary: ETP Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure proper treatment and discharge of wastewater as per regulatory standards. The role involves managing plant processes, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

  • Operate and monitor all equipment within the Effluent Treatment Plant.
  • Adjust parameters such as flow rate, chemical dosing, and treatment levels to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Perform regular sampling and testing of wastewater for quality parameters (pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.).
  • Record and report test results, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team for major repairs or issues that require external support
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, pipes, pumps, and tanks to identify potential issues.,- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on ETP machinery and systems,

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and local laws regarding wastewater treatment and discharge., - Maintain accurate records of operations, tests, maintenance, and safety checks.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment while operating machinery and handling chemicals.
  • Ensure the safe disposal of sludge and other by-products from the treatment process.
  • Identify inefficiencies or issues in the treatment process and work towards continuous improvement,
  • Report any malfunctions or system failures promptly to the supervisor.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports for management, detailing plant performance, chemical usage, and effluent quality.
  • Report any discrepancies, abnormal readings, or potential violations of discharge standards.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹18, ₹24,000.00 per month
