Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Equity OTC Confirmations team within the broader Equity Derivatives Operations function. The role involves managing trade confirmations, ensuring timely execution, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to support the end-to-end trade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Send affirmation requests to clients and ensure trades are confirmed and executed within defined timelines.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients and utilize escalation channels as necessary.
  • Understand the end-to-end trade flow and collaborate with Sales & Trading, Brokers, Middle Office, and Settlements teams to resolve client breaks.
  • Perform data mining, business analysis, and reporting, including preparation of daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, share best practices, and ensure efficient issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Counterparties, Traders, Legal, Credit, IT, and Controllers.
  • Manage ad-hoc client requests promptly while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Derivatives Operations, preferably Equity OTC Confirmations.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and post-trade processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
