RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis, thus, providing more flexibility than owning the expensive furniture and appliances. 

Currently, we have 100,000+ subscribers with a typical rental period of 12-14 months. The current market size (as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13 Billion by 2025. 

With 700+ people operations, the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back, Rentomojo has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm, they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK. We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and engaging Trainer to upskill our Customer Support, Presales, and Retail Store teams. You will design and deliver training programs that boost customer experience and sales conversions. Experience with AI tools is a big plus, as you'll also help build smart, scalable training solutions using AI.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and performance-driven Trainer to lead capability-building across three core teams at Rentomojo:

• Customer Support Team (Chat, Emails, Outbound Calls)
  
  

• Presales Team (Driving conversions through outbound communication)
  
  

• Retail Stores Team (On-ground sales staff training)
  
  

In addition to classic training responsibilities, the ideal candidate will understand and leverage AI tools to build innovative training modules, enhance support/sales performance, and automate workflows where possible.

• Design and deliver regular training programs for chat, email, and call-based customer interactions.
  
  

• Train teams on handling customer escalations, empathy, response accuracy, and soft skills.
  
  

• Monitor AHT, CSAT, NPS, and agent quality scores to identify training gaps.
  
  

• Coach on tool usage, CRM navigation, and process compliance.
  
  

• Drive higher conversion rates through training on persuasion techniques, objection handling, and funnel stage awareness.
  
  

• Support lead management, call scripting, and qualification protocols.
  
  

• Create simulations and mock sessions to improve live performance metrics.
  
  

• Upskill store staff on product knowledge, customer interaction, and in-store conversions.
  
  

• Conduct in-person and virtual coaching sessions for live demo handling and upselling techniques.
  
  

• Track conversion levers by store and build training plans accordingly.

• 3–6 years of experience in training, L&D, or sales enablement roles.
  
  

• Strong understanding of customer service & sales operations.
  
  

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  
  

• Hands-on knowledge of tools like ChatGPT, Notion AI, or similar.
  
  

• Data-driven mindset to track training effectiveness.
