About the Role:

Fortmindz is looking for a passionate and experienced Frontend Tech Lead to lead our UI/UX efforts and shape the future of our web applications. This is an onsite position in Kolkata offering a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leading initiatives and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the frontend development of scalable web applications using , HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate best practices into the team's workflow.
  • Mentor junior developers and help build a strong frontend team culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Strong working knowledge of and related ecosystem.
  • Experience in building responsive and cross-browser compatible web interfaces.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Solid knowledge of frontend build tools and version control systems like Git.
  • Strong leadership abilities and proven experience managing or mentoring teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
  • Experience with performance tuning and frontend testing tools.
  • Understanding of accessibility and SEO best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
