Minimum 6 years in IT Infrastructure & Security Support

Certification Required:
Valid CompTIA CySA+ (or equivalent in security domain – subject to client approval)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Firewall Management

  2. Monitor firewall activity and analyze security alerts.

  3. Review system logs and update firewall rules as needed.

  4. Block Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and ensure network security compliance.

  5. Endpoint Security & SIEM Administration

  6. Deploy, configure, and manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Antivirus, and SIEM solutions.

  7. Perform updates, patching, and proactive monitoring of client systems.

  8. Network Administration

  9. Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and UTM devices.

  10. Handle network outages and provide timely resolutions.

  11. System Administration (Linux & Windows)

  12. Install, configure, and manage Linux & Windows servers.

  13. Handle user account management, file system administration, performance tuning, and backups.

  14. Virtualization & Hypervisor Management

  15. Manage virtual machines (VMs) on hypervisors.

  16. Ensure efficient resource allocation and system stability.

  17. Cloud Support (AWS)

  18. Assist with AWS operations including security monitoring, networking, and access control.

  19. Backup & Recovery

  20. Perform scheduled backups and verification.

  21. Execute disaster recovery plans and system restoration.

  22. Application Support (Tally ERP)

  23. Troubleshoot and resolve Tally ERP-related system and network issues.

  24. IT & Desktop Support

  25. Provide end-user support for OS/software crashes, installation, and connectivity issues.

  26. Maintain desktop systems and applications.

  27. Peripheral & Conferencing Support

  28. Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

  29. Ensure video conferencing systems are operational during company meetings.

  30. Security & Compliance

  31. Support vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and compliance with IT security policies.

  32. Implement OEM-recommended guidelines during updates and patching.

  33. Monitoring & Maintenance

  34. Monitor leased lines, servers, and storage utilization.

  35. Conduct health checks, firmware upgrades, and system updates as per approved schedules.

  36. OEM Coordination & Recovery

  37. Log calls with OEM vendors and follow up until resolution.

  38. Provide system logs for troubleshooting and perform recovery actions including reinstallation or hardware replacement.

  39. General Support & Flexibility

  40. Perform overlapping responsibilities based on business requirements.

  41. Maintain proper documentation and provide status reports to client IT teams.
