Job description

Calmunity is building a strong, multidisciplinary mental health team to serve clients in Mumbai and Pune. We are looking for dedicated, qualified professionals to provide ethical, accessible, and high-quality support in multiple languages (English, Hindi, Marathi).

Open Positions

Counsellors – 3 Openings

Qualification: M.A. in Counselling Psychology OR M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology


•⁠ ⁠Provide general counselling for stress, self-esteem, relationships, and workplace challenges.


•⁠ ⁠Deliver solution-focused, short-term support.


•⁠ ⁠Work in tandem with Listeners, Psychologists / Psychotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, and Psychiatrists for seamless referrals.

Psychologists / Psychotherapists – 3 Openings

Qualification: M.A. / M.Sc. in Psychology (Counselling/Applied/Clinical) with recognised psychotherapy training/certification


•⁠ ⁠Conduct therapy for mild to moderate concerns such as anxiety, depression, and performance issues.


•⁠ ⁠Apply evidence-based approaches (CBT, REBT, mindfulness, etc.).


•⁠ ⁠Collaborate closely with Counsellors, Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Listeners for integrated care.

Clinical Psychologists – 3 Openings

Qualification: M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognised programme


•⁠ ⁠Manage severe or complex cases needing long-term therapy, clinical assessments, and diagnosis.


•⁠ ⁠Conduct psychological testing and evaluations.


•⁠ ⁠Work in tandem with Psychiatrists, Psychologists / Psychotherapists, Counsellors, and Listeners to ensure comprehensive client support.

Psychiatrists – 3 Openings

Qualification: MBBS + MD / DNB (Psychiatry) with current registration with the National Medical Commission / State Medical Council


•⁠ ⁠Provide medication management for severe mental health conditions.


•⁠ ⁠Develop treatment plans aligned with therapeutic interventions.


•⁠ ⁠Collaborate actively with Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists / Psychotherapists, Counsellors, and Listeners for holistic care.

Compensation


•⁠ ⁠Pay Per Session (depending on qualifications and experience)


•⁠ ⁠Flexible scheduling of sessions

General Responsibilities (All Roles)


•⁠ ⁠Deliver ethical, empathetic, and professional mental health services.


•⁠ ⁠Maintain client confidentiality and proper case documentation.


•⁠ ⁠Actively collaborate with the entire Calmunity team (Listeners → Counsellors → Psychologists / Psychotherapists → Clinical Psychologists → Psychiatrists).


•⁠ ⁠Support awareness initiatives such as blogs, workshops, and wellness programs.
