Software Development Engineer, Digital Pricing Team

As a SDE, You'll will develop cutting-edge pricing systems that process millions of prices daily. Our platform combines pricing strategies with advanced AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), GenAI and custom neural networks, to make real-time pricing decisions that directly impact our business and customers.
Joining the Digital Pricing team means taking on a role where technical expertise meets real-world impact. From the outset, you'll work with advanced AI technologies to develop solutions that power pricing across Amazon's extensive digital products. This team is not only building innovative pricing systems—but also redefining how millions of customers experience Amazon's digital products.
The technical challenges you'll tackle are unique. You'll work with advanced AWS infrastructure, design distributed systems at massive scale, and implement AI solutions that directly impact Amazon's digital business. Whether you're optimizing model performance, or developing new pricing systems, you'll have the resources and support to succeed.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (preferably AWS)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of AI model optimisation techniques
- Experience with large language models (LLMs)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with AI/ML deployment platforms (Amazon Q)
