Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buying & Sourcing - Apparels professional, based in Thane. The role involves managing the end-to-end buying and sourcing process for apparel categories, including vendor management, price negotiations, and ensuring timely stock availability. Responsibilities also include trend analysis, product identification, quality checks, and fostering strong supplier relationships. The individual will strategize to identify cost-saving opportunities, ensure alignment with customer preferences, and ensure product quality standards. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the supply chain will also be a key task.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams.
• Proven expertise in Sales and Negotiation skills to secure the best value and quality from suppliers while meeting profitability targets.
• Experience in Product Development and an understanding of market trends to curate product ranges catering to customer demands.
• Highly organized, with analytical and problem-solving skills to manage sourcing processes end-to-end.
• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in apparel sourcing, retail buying, or procurement would be advantageous.
