Job Title: Event Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure all event operations run smoothly, deadlines are met, and client expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events such as corporate gatherings, conferences, weddings, exhibitions, and social functions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistical arrangements.
  • Conduct site visits and ensure event setups meet required standards.
  • Support in preparing event proposals, schedules, and post-event reports.
  • Oversee event registrations, guest management, and on-site coordination.
  • Handle communication with clients to understand event requirements and provide updates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues on the event day to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Maintain documentation, contracts, and event-related records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in event coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of event management software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules.
