Position Overview

Looking for a
Report Development Software Engineer
who will be responsible for designing, developing, and publishing professional-grade analytical and narrative reports that integrate data, visualizations, and AI-generated content. The ideal candidate combines strong data visualization, document automation, and Generative AI prompt engineering skills with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop automated, interactive, and visually appealing reports using multiple data and content sources.

· Create dynamic charts, infographics, and data visualizations (bar, pie, line, gauge, waterfall, etc.) using programming libraries or reporting tools.

· Integrate content generated from GPT tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.) into structured report templates.

· Convert generated content, insights, and graphics into professional Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF reports.

· Ensure report accuracy, visual clarity, and alignment with enterprise branding standards.

· Develop and maintain reusable templates for automated report generation and publication.

· Work with GenAI tools and APIs to extract insights, generate summaries, and enrich reports with AI-driven commentary.

· Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

· Continuously explore and implement prompt optimization and AI-assisted content creation techniques to improve report quality and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

years of experience in report automation, visualization, or document generation.

· Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for visualization (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, ).

· Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF automation libraries (e.g., python-docx, openpyxl, reportlab).

· Experience in using Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, etc.) for content generation.

· Skilled in prompt engineering for structured, creative, and analytical output.

· Ability to design and apply professional report templates and formatting styles.

· Strong sense of data storytelling and visual communication.

· Familiarity with data visualization libraries and dashboarding tools is a plus.

· Conversant with MS Excel Macros and automation scripts.

· Experience in reporting and visualization tools like Power BI.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

· Experience with document generation pipelines integrating GenAI models.

· Exposure to enterprise-grade reporting automation in AI or analytics products.

· Familiarity with API-based report publishing and workflow automation tools.

· Understanding of LLM-based summarization and insight extraction from structured/unstructured data.
