Hiring: Data Engineer (Scala) – High Priority

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer (Scala) to design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and platforms. This role involves utilizing modern big data technologies, cloud platforms, and distributed systems to deliver top-notch data solutions for enterprise-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Scala, Spark/Databricks, and Hadoop/ADLS.

  • Build and manage data lakes to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality data solutions throughout the full SDLC.

  • Implement data engineering best practices, including CI/CD and automation.

  • Optimize data workflows for enhanced performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 4+ years of proven experience in data engineering and software delivery.

  • Strong programming skills in Scala (Java/Python experience also considered).

  • Expertise in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop/ADLS.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
