About Job :


- Network Operation Managers are responsible for maintaining Network Operations service with committed SLA.

- Their goal is to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for their users. Users may be staff, clients, customers and suppliers.

- Networks can include: computer; voice; firewall.

- Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization's network. Analyses network and recommends upgrades/changes; assesses organization's current and future network needs.

- Oversees the daily operations of network staff and records incidents and changes. Typically reports to Mid management. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

- Technically must be good to training team to improve Engineer skillsets as per the current & new technology.

- Network Operations Manager with a proven track record of leading and developing the Network Operations Centre function, The key responsibilities are to manage the team to ensure service quality and network efficiency. The post holder will manage the budget and lead improvements to Maintenance, Provisioning, Service Restoration and Data Centre processes and capabilities.


Key Responsibilities :

- Designing of Network Operation Management ,Perform review of team & Define

Improvement plans , Discussion with customer for new requirement of the customers for ops

support.

- Network Ops Managers will be a part of the Project execution team & Network Operations team, He will be deployed to customer location

- He is responsible to understand the customer expectations & need , then define the network

requirements

- Should be capable of preparing the Project Schedule for network activity & Manage

Operations activities

- Must be Train team on new technology & improve team skill sets periodic basis

- Must have multiple Product knowledge and Work experience

- Good ITIL Knowledge of IT process is mandatory

Required Skills :

- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the team, providing overall guidance and

supervision

- Maintain and monitor required staffing levels and schedule to ensure that the team can meet

the demand and respond in a timely manner to network and server anomalies and outages

- Maintenance managing routines, obsolescence, contracts, suppliers, service providers

- Provisioning meeting SLA on new provisions, Service Restoration - meeting SLA on services

Capacity management managing utilisation of assets

- To develop the team and work with Project departments to achieve common business goals

- To act as an escalation, point for customer problems and questions via telephone, e-mail, and

face to face

- To be escalation contact for service issues, out of hours Ensuring the right environment is in

place so that staff are effectively mentored, developed and trained

- Develop and own the processes and procedures used by the team, based on best practice for

the industry

- Develop documentation related to the departments work processes which is up to date and

accurately reflects the day to day running of the team

- Organise and prioritise workload Led internal projects to improve service

- Communicate with suppliers and service providers on behalf of the company

- Conduct team reviews and be responsible for personal and career development of team

members

- Significant proven experience in comparable role in any organization

- Previous extensive experience of building and developing a technical Team,

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Able to analyze problems, issues & needs and provide robust but adaptable solutions which meet current and future requirements

- The ability to handle objections and resistance to change Ability to cope with changing

environment including adapting to meet emergency business critical events

- Effectively plans and organises own workload

- Self-motivated Capable of working under pressure/using own initiative with minimal

supervision, Team player, who contributes ideas and suggestions for improvement.

- Happy to challenge existing processes and procedures

- Exposure to running projects effectively is essential

- Experience of ITIL is desirable & SOX Audits


Desirable Skills :

- Knowledge of network security technologies, log formats, SIEM technologies, and security

operations

- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


Qualification : Possessing a Bachelors degree or higher qualification

Certification :

- Essential - Any Certificates - TIL , ITIL Ops Mgt. Or Service Mgt.

- Desirable - CCNA, CCNP, CCIE.
