Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
German Language Trainer
to deliver high-quality language instruction to our students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the German language and culture and possess a proven ability to teach students at various proficiency levels (A1, A2, B1, B2). You will be responsible for creating an engaging and effective learning environment, preparing students for internationally recognized proficiency exams, and helping them build the confidence to use German effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver structured and engaging German language lessons for different proficiency levels (A1-B2).
2. Teach all aspects of the German language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
4. Prepare students specifically for proficiency examinations such as the
   Goethe-Zertifikat
   ,
   TestDaF

   .
5. Create and administer regular assessments, quizzes, and mock tests to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
6. Foster a positive, interactive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
7. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
8. Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, resources, and changes in exam patterns.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Language Proficiency:
   Minimum
   C1 level
   proficiency in German, certified by a recognized institution (e.g., Goethe-Institut, telc).
2. Experience:
   A minimum of
   2 years of experience
   teaching German as a foreign language (DaF - Deutsch als Fremdsprache).
3. Education:
   Bachelor's degree in any field. A degree in German language, linguistics, or education is a strong asset.
4. Communication:
   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English.
5. Passion:
   A genuine passion for teaching and the ability to motivate students.
6. Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. A Master's degree in German Studies or a related field.
2. Official teacher training certification (e.g., DaF certification).
3. Prior experience living, studying, or working in a German-speaking country.

4. Familiarity with using technology and digital tools in a classroom setting.
