Role: Tax Audit Executive / Income Tax Expert

We are hiring a Tax Audit Executive / Income Tax Expert with 3–5 years of relevant experience in an auditing office or CA firm. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in ITR filing, Form 3CA/ 3CB/ 3CD preparation, GST reconciliations, and finalizing books of accounts using Tally ERP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CA/ 3CB/ 3CD) with full clause-wise documentation
  • Finalize books of accounts in Tally ERP / Tally Prime for service, trading, and manufacturing firms
  • Handle income tax return filing for ITR-5, ITR-6, and ITR-7 (desirable)
  • Perform GST 2A/2B reconciliation, match with books, and correct mismatches
  • Prepare financial statements: Balance Sheet, P&L, and working schedules in Excel
  • Apply Income Tax provisions accurately including depreciation, disallowances, and advance tax
  • Stay updated on latest Income Tax Act amendments, Section 44AB audit thresholds, and CBDT circulars
  • Work with internal teams and CAs to meet filing deadlines and respond to audit notices
  • Review ledger entries, pass closing entries, and complete audit documentation
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary data, answer audit-related questions, and provide status updates

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / CA Finalist
  • 3 to 5 years of Tax Audit experience in an Indian auditor office or CA firm
  • Income Tax compliance for firms, companies, and trusts
  • Form 3CA/ 3CB/ 3CD clauses and annexures
  • Tally ERP / Prime and Excel-based reporting
  • GST reconciliation and compliance (GSTR-1, 2A/2B, 3B, 9/9C)
  • Familiar with Income Tax e-filing portal, TRACES, AIS, 26AS
  • Good command of English (written & spoken); Tamil preferred for client interaction
  • Experience working across multiple sectors (manufacturing, service, trading)
  • Familiarity with Winman software

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

Exposure to handling tax scrutiny notices or assessments
