Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Playwright Automation Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Microsoft Playwright to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to build robust and scalable automation solutions.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Design and implement reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed.
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA best practices
Your profile
  • 2+ years of experience in test automation using Playwright or similar frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, browser behaviour).
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills
