We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with deep expertise in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), NLP, and Chatbot Development, capable of leading a team of engineers and overseeing AI project architecture from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered chatbots and conversational systems using LLMs.
  • Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines integrating vector databases, embeddings, and search systems.
  • Architect scalable AI systems with OpenAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
  • Work with Python, Django/FastAPI, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for backend AI integration.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of AI and backend engineers, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical goals with business needs.
  • Conduct research and prototype new AI models for text understanding, summarization, and dialogue management.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years leading projects or teams.
  • Proven expertise in NLP, LLM fine-tuning, and RAG-based systems.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face, and OpenAI API.
  • Experience in building and deploying chatbots across platforms (web/mobile).
  • Sound understanding of data pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, etc.).
  • Experience with prompt engineering, knowledge retrieval, and document QA systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on technical mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working in SaaS or product-based AI startups.
  • Exposure to MLOps, model evaluation, and continuous learning systems.
  • Understanding of multi-modal AI (text + audio or vision integration).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From ₹65,000.00 per month
