About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Consultant with deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Cloud EPM applications, especially EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, experience with multidimensional databases like Essbase, and hands-on development experience across Oracle EPM tools and scripting technologies.

This role requires both a technical problem-solver and a functional thinker, capable of working closely with finance stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable, automated, and high-performance EPM solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Cloud EPM modules, especially EPBCS.

- Support and enhance other modules such as FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close), PCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management), and ARCS (Account Reconciliation).

- Translate complex FP&A and financial consolidation requirements into technical solutions.

Data forms, dashboards, reports, business rules, smart lists, member formulas

Calculation scripts and data models

Currency translation and intercompany eliminations logic

- Design and implement multi-dimensional data models using Essbase concepts.

- Build Groovy-based business rules, EPM Automate scripts, REST API calls, and automation workflows to streamline data loading and processing.

- Integrate Oracle EPM with on-premise systems and cloud-based data sources using Data Management (DM), FDMEE, and Data Exchange.

- Debug, analyze, and resolve complex issues in EPBCS and other EPM modules.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and BI to deliver high-quality EPM projects.

- Document solution design, technical specs, and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

6 years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, particularly :

- EPBCS (Must-have)

- FCCS, PCMCS, and ARCS (Good to have)

Deep knowledge of Essbase multidimensional database concepts.

Strong understanding of FP&A and financial close processes, including :

- Bottom-up/top-down planning

- Scenario modeling

- Cost allocations

- Currency translation

- Intercompany eliminations

- Account reconciliations

Expertise in :

- Groovy scripting for custom calculations and dynamic logic

- Shell scripting and batch scripting for automation

- EPM Automate for batch operations

- REST APIs for integration and automation

- Experience with data integration tools, both on-premises (FDMEE) and cloud-based (Data Exchange).

- Proven ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.

- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills in EPM environments.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
