Job Description:Job Title – Associate Systems EngineerThe Purpose of This RoleFidelity Investments Enterprise Infrastructure is seeking a highly talented & motivated individual with solid hands on expertise on Desktop support. This role will be of a team member responsible for day to day operations as well as contributing to organization initiatives. The candidate must be flexible to accommodate the business changes efficiently and will be expected to work with Business partners to continuously strive to improve the quality of operations. This individual must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-changing environment. The role is based in Bangalore, India.The Value You DeliverEnsure the availability of End User services during India and/or US business hoursCollaborate with other Fidelity support groups in and out of IndiaSupervision of installation of new IT infrastructuresCustomer Service ExcellenceProvide support to general workspace equipment (like Laptop, Desktops, Mobile, Printers, Network , Meeting Room support, etc..)Maintain the compliance of the PC builds with Fidelity StandardsProduce the necessary reports and statistics to control the team productivity and give a proactive answer to re-occurring issues.Problem resolution – dealing with escalated issues, liaison with Systems support groups, Network Operations group, external vendors and business units to resolve issuesLead root cause analysis to prevent recurrenceFlexible to work in shifts and support operations 24/5 around the clockThe Skills that are Key to this roleTechnical / BehavioralExperience in supporting hybrid Windows and MAC environmentPrevious end user support experience, on an user community >1000 usersRequires knowledge on the following:Good knowledge in Laptop hardware testingPerform functional, performance stress and compatibility testingConduct thermal, power and battery life testingUnderstanding of tools like multimeter and other diagnostics methodsKnowledge in supporting MAC OSX (Mojave ) , IOS platformMaintain detail record of test results and prepare test reportsKnowledge of ITIL process, ITIL certification will be an added advantageExposure to Ticket Tools like Service NowThe Skills that are Good To Have for this roleGood analytical skillsCommunicator – excellent written and verbal skills, good attention to detailHow Your Work Impacts the OrganizationFITG (FMR India Technology Group) is responsible for managing IT projects including technology rollouts, new office fit outs and partnering with global IT teams to meet IT requirements of Fidelity India business units.
