Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Chess Instructor role based in Pune. The Chess Instructor will be responsible for teaching chess to students of different skill levels, structuring lessons, providing training exercises, and mentoring students for tournaments. The role includes conducting group and individual coaching sessions, assessing student progress, and developing customized learning plans based on skill growth and goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chess and a strong understanding of chess strategies and gameplay
• Ability to teach and tutor effectively with a passion for working with students
• Experience in training and preparing students for competitions
• Strong mathematical reasoning skills to support strategic explanations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• FIDE rating or formal certification is a plus
• Prior experience in teaching chess to children or adults is preferred
