Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the mechanical maintenance team at STP/WTP/ETP/RO plants.
• Ensure smooth functioning of pumps, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, agitators, valves, and pipelines.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement needs.
• Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with operations and electrical teams for plant efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and performance monitoring of technicians.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: years in water & wastewater treatment plant maintenance, with minimum 2 - 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in pumps, blowers, compressors, and rotating equipment.
• Good knowledge of preventive & breakdown maintenance practices.
• Ability to lead and guide a team of technicians/operators.
• Hands-on experience with installation, overhauling, and troubleshooting.
• Strong reporting, planning, and communication skills.
