We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4 HANA Techno-Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and functional understanding of SAP S/4 HANA modules. You will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and configuring SAP S/4 HANA solutions to meet our Pre-Sales team Demonstration needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions for customer presentations as part of the sales process.Roles and Responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience with development objects and HANA objects (CDS views, CE functions, SQL scripts) using Eclipse.
  • Analyze business/functional requirements and prepare development project schedules, tasks, and estimates.
  • Perform technical design, document technical specifications, and ensure compliance with the underlying solution architecture.
  • Develop custom enhancements and interfaces using SAP ABAP and ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination solution.
  • Configure SAP S/4 HANA modules according to best practices and client requirements.
  • Conduct design and code reviews and resolve defects.
  • Develop test plans and automated scripts to ensure performance quality.
  • Support application development efforts, including unit testing, technical specifications creation, code review, and transport management across SAP systems.
  • Analyze root causes and provide solutions for production and development issues.
  • Apply SAP correction instructions, hot notes, SPAU, and SPDD during upgrades.
  • Collaborate with prospects and presales teams to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Demonstrate and run scenarios configured to the prospect alongside the presales team.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions using SAP S/4 HANA functionalities.
  • Develop, monitor, and support SAP ERP systems (S/4 HANA, BW) and other systems within the landscape.
  • Convert and optimize stored procedures from SQL DB to HANA DB.
  • Design and create HANA Calculation views, including Metadata Import, Attribute & Measures identification, and Hierarchies management.
  • Design and create BODS ETL jobs, and troubleshoot and resolve BODS data load failures.
  • Identify issues and risks associated with design, implementation, and delivery of assignments.
  • Organize project activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.

Must-Have Skills
  • 3-6 years of SAP HANA development and planning experience, including architecture and implementation of large-scale data warehousing initiatives on the SAP HANA platform.
  • At least one end-to-end SAP implementation experience and one S/4HANA system conversion experience.
  • Proficiency with SAP Web IDE and Eclipse IDE.
  • Integration of SAP S/4HANA with SAP middleware using IDocs, remote function modules, web services, or ABAP proxies.
  • Development of HANA objects such as CDS views, CE functions, and SQL scripts using Eclipse.
  • Hands-on SAP ABAP development, including customizations, enhancements, and debugging.
  • Expertise in Native HANA development: creating information models, procedures, and HANA views (Attribute, Analytics, and Calculation views) with graphical and SQL scripting.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA modules such as Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), and other relevant modules.
  • Application of SAP correction instructions, hot notes, SPAU, and SPDD during upgrades.
  • Development and support of application development efforts, including unit testing, technical specifications creation, code reviews, and transport management across SAP systems.
  • Development of test plans and automated scripts to ensure performance quality.
  • Analysis of root causes and provision of solutions for production and development issues.
  • Fine-tuning of SAP objects and systems utilizing SAP best practices.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and Indirect Tax Determination data models (e.g., Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE/Vertex), architecture, and integration capabilities.
  • Experience in setting chain transactions for 3- and 4-party flows.
  • Hands-on functional SAP experience, including day-to-day setup and configuration.
  • Expertise in SAP HANA migration, optimization, sizing, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in SDA (Smart Data Access) and SAP HANA Live (Analytics).
  • Experience in building and supporting SM&M across the company using SAP's Express Shipment integration.
