Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Livestock Inspector located in Jaipur. The Veterinary Livestock Inspector will be responsible for inspecting livestock to ensure they meet health, safety, and quality standards. Daily tasks include examining animals for signs of illness, injury, or disease, ensuring proper animal welfare practices, overseeing vaccination and deworming programs, collecting and testing samples, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves collaborating with farmers, veterinarians, and other stakeholders to ensure livestock health and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Knowledge, Livestock Management, and Animal Welfare skills
  • Experience in conducting health inspections and collecting samples
  • Strong observational and analytical skills
  • Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with farmers, veterinarians, and other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certification or licensure is a plus
  • Willingness to work in an on-site environment in Jaipur
