Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced BDD Tester to support testing efforts for a web-based application. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, particularly Cucumber and Playwright, to ensure comprehensive and automated test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cucumber and Playwright.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define and validate acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and regression suites.
  • Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to improve delivery speed and quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in BDD testing for web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Cucumber and Playwright.
  • Understanding of web application architecture and cross-browser testing.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Nice to Have:

  • Programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with testing REST APIs and backend integration testing.
  • Experience in agile development environments.
