You'll play a key role in 
developing the application by following the design shared
, while ensuring high performance, maintainability, and seamless user experiences across online and offline modes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using 
    Java

and modern 
Android SDK

components.
- Architect and implement 
offline-first solutions

using 
Room

, 
WorkManager

, and 
data synchronization patterns

.
- Integrate and customize 
Google Maps SDK

with advanced features such as custom markers, routes, and geofencing.
- Develop robust 
RESTful API

integrations using 
Retrofit

, 
Moshi/Gson

, and caching strategies.
- Apply 
Material Design

principles for modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Build clean, modular, and scalable UI using 
Fragments

, 
Bottom Sheets

, 
Navigation Components

View Binding/Data Binding

- Continuously 
profile and optimize app performance

(startup time, rendering, network calls, battery usage).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient communication and delivery.
- Think critically and propose improvements

to make features faster, more reliable, and more maintainable.
- Follow 
Clean Architecture

and 
MVVM

principles, ensuring code quality and testability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years

of professional Android development experience in 
Java

.
- Good hands-on experience with Google Maps SDK
 and location-based app development.
- Strong understanding of 
offline-first architectures
 — caching, syncing, and background data handling.
- Expertise in 
Retrofit

, 
RESTful APIs

, and 
JSON serialization (Moshi/Gson)

.
- Solid grasp of 
Material Design

, responsive layouts, and modern UI patterns.
- Experience with 
ViewModel

LiveData

, 
Lifecycle

Fragment

management.
- Familiarity with 
Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)

and 
modular project structure

- Skilled at using 
performance profiling tools
