Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer AWS Infrastructure (AWS Solutions Architect Associate)

Job Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, Linux administration, and modern CI/CD practices. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud environments, automating workflows, and ensuring high system reliability. You will work with tools such as AWS CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes (EKS), while also managing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure following best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Amazon Linux).
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash for operational tasks.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.

Technical Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch).
  • Operating Systems: Ubuntu, Red Hat, Amazon Linux.
  • DevOps Tools: AWS CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Automation & Scripting: Bash scripting.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, AWS CloudWatch.
  • Troubleshooting: Infrastructure and application-level issue resolution.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Mandatory Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in AWS infrastructure and DevOps roles.
  • Additional certifications in Kubernetes or Linux administration are a plus.
