Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Cashier to join our dynamic team at Shital Motors Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position that requires 1 to 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily cash transactions and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service. Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in handling cash transactions accurately with attention to detail and efficiency. Must be capable of calculating payments and giving change swiftly.
  • Experienced in using Tally ERP software for managing financial transactions and accounting tasks (Mandatory skill).
  • Possess strong numerical aptitude and familiarity with basic mathematics required for cash handling and reconciling accounts.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills to handle enquiries, assist customers, and resolve any issues effectively and professionally.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management to track and replenish sales items to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient daily operations.
  • Well-versed in operating scanners and other related equipment required for processing sales and maintaining records.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills for handling customer complaints and problems with composure and professionalism.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle all cash, credit, and check transactions with customers accurately, swiftly, and courteously.
  • Maintain accurate transactional records and handle cash settlements to ensure financial integrity at the end of the day.
  • Perform sales operations including processing customer purchases, providing receipts, and managing customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Assist in managing the inventory by tracking stock levels and collaborating with the inventory team for timely replenishments of products.
  • Operate cash registers and accounting software, ensuring proper scanning of purchased items and accurate billing.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in collaboration with other departments if needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with company policies and standards while maintaining a high level of organizational trust and reliability.
  • Participate in training and meetings to stay updated with new policies, services, and product offerings.
