Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, configure SAP solutions, and support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules (FI/CO).
  • Analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions in SAP.
  • Perform end-to-end project activities including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.).
  • Provide support for existing SAP systems and resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Prepare functional specifications for custom developments.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide user training.
  • Work closely with finance teams and ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling processes, and business process mapping.
  • Experience in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM/SD/PP).
  • Strong experience in SAP configuration and customizations.
  • Proficient in writing functional specifications and working with ABAP developers.
  • Good understanding of taxation, GST, and local statutory requirements in India.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with S/4HANA.
  • Exposure to FICO data migration and cutover activities.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP security and authorizations.
