Role
:

Managing all complex underwriting quotes and/or proposals of that specific cargo segment

Handling reinsurance aspects of that segment

Create underwriting guidelines and information sheets for various cargos forms part of that segment

Innovation in underwriting approach to structure policy designing to suit the exact requirement of insured's and/or intermediaries.

Identifying niche pockets within the segment for potential and sustainable business growth

Monitoring claims and loss reserves of the segment and working in synergy with claims team for optimize loss reserves of that segment

Seamless working with marine risk management team for controlling and managing of losses for further improvement of bottom line

To lead interactions with internal stakeholders and partners for speedy resolutions of identified issues

Any projects, at product level or function level or at organizational level.

Create working cohesiveness with regional team for growth of the allocated segment.

Create risk register of various cargo forming part of that segment.

Good understanding of large risks underwriting

Skills Required:

Candidate must be having expertise for Marine line business in Indian Market

Excellent understanding and Leardership management of Marine insurance underwriting and portfolio management.

Good understanding of large risks underwriting

Team Building & Handling

3+ Years of experience in Marine Cargo UW
